Maple Ginger and Cranberry Compote

1 10-ounce bag frozen cranberries

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3/4 cup pure maple syrup

3/4 cup water



  1. Add all of the ingredients to a large saucepan and bring to a full boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to a gentle boil and allow the sauce to cook, uncovered until thickened, about 30 minutes
  3. Serve warm or room temperature
